Even if you are a seasoned pro yo will probably see stuff that you did not know!. We strongly advise you to watch this video and then check out some of the other advice and Q&A sections on WordPress, WordPress Themes and even on the great deals that we have to offer on the professional grade theme templates from Woo Themes! If you want a great blog, then it is important to pick a good theme (layout and design) that fits your blog subject and will help market your site as soon as people see it.

Hey Chris this video has been very helpful.
But now I’m stuck. You went through wordpress site to edit. I go through bluehost and see that I dont have all the options you have. Most important one is in settings general there is no Blog photo module and I cant seem to find any informaiton on the web. Help what is the difference between going through bluehost and wordpress?

This was incredibly boring! I almost fell asleep while watching this, probably cause your voice is Mono, other than that it was a great video for people who don’t know how to set up a wordpress blog. But I thought this video was going to be on how to blog, like writing and stuff like that.

Boring. Self indulgent. If you want to make an instructional video cut out all the bloated ‘me’ crap and get straight to it.

You can really tell which comments are from adults and which ones are from kids. This was a great tutorial. One of the best I’ve watched on any subject.

Thank you so much, Chris. This really helped out a lot! We have to use WordPress to create a ‘website’ for our Media coursework (our college is too cheap to get Dreamweaver) and as a complete novice, I didn’t know where to start. But this tutorial has helped fantastically, so thanks!

you waste too much time. you need to go faster and stick to the stuff most people can’t figure out on their own. this tutorial would be a lot better if you weren’t wasting so many people’s time.

Thank you ,although much of what you showed here I basically figured out by trial & error using WordPress . I was hoping this tutorial would have gone into more specifics of why & how widgets can be used ; your section on domains would have been more helpful had you discussed the benefits or advantages of purchasing a domain name.
